Very Good multicolored pictorial paper wrappers (on accordion-fold paper), color illustration and black lettering to front. Covers have several small bumps and moderate wear to edges and tips and light rubbing and slight age toning to front and back, else clean and intact. Pages have mild wear to extremities, else pristine and intact. Pop-ups clean and intact with little to no wear, no tears or separation of pieces. A charming facsimile of the International Circus, one of the pop-up books by Lothar Meggendorfer (1847-1925), a German illustrator and cartoonist. Principally color illustrations with little text. Six pop-up scenes, each on one page, show the different circus acts. Verso of accordion-fold paper has brief printed text about this particular work by Meggendorf.
